Oddly the Cosby-inspired case of this week likely distracts from deeper consideration of that angle; its main purpose, beyond its means of reminding us that our justice system isn't necessarily fair, is to reveal an unrealistic nobility in Dancy's Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price, and the stoic determination of his fellow prosecutor Samantha Maroun (Odelya Halevi). So we see that and there's a little bit of friction, to begin with, but then they grow to have this admiration and respect for each other but neither one is going to let the other cross the line, and that's where we are. He joined the new show, but hes good at what hes doing. But to know the "Law & Order" universe is to realize none of this matters.
